A. L. WILLARD : GOLDEN SEAL BITTERS
There is very little information about A. L. Willard. He started his apothecary shop and drug store in Weir Village on Water Street sometime in 1855 in Taunton, Massachusetts. One of his best selling pruduct was his Willard's Golden Seal Bitters. He sold it for 38 cents a bottle or 3 for one dollar. In 1882 he would sell the business to E. T. Borden & Co. A. L. Willard would die on April 26, 1892 in Taunton.
Another product Willard sold was his A. L. Willard's Jamaica Ginger.
A trading card says that you could purchase a bottle of their sure remedy for Dyspersia, Indigestion and Loss of Appetite for .38 cents or three bottle for a $1.00
